Power is provided by a 1300cc turbocharged 4 cylinder gasoline engine capable of putting out 500 and 750 horsepower also with everything in between those figures, and is mounted behind the passenger compartment. Under normal conditions the Acabion concept drives on its two main wheels like a motorcycle, but at low speeds or if balance is lost at high speeds the two side wheels are designed to lower themselves automatically to aid stability.
